A video is gaining popularity online, showing how amateur Russian designers decided to install a powerful YAKB-12.7 machine gun from a Mi-24 helicopter onto a rotating structure. The result was extremely spectacular.

The video footage shows a fighter preparing to open fire. However, during the very first burst, the weapon's insane rate of fire creates a colossal recoil impulse.

Within fractions of a second, the machine gun starts to spin uncontrollably around its axis. The machine gunner himself is literally thrown out of the vehicle by the powerful force. And his partner miraculously manages to duck down.

“As strange as the video may seem, it appears not to be AI,” summarized military analyst Jan Matveev.
