After the attack on two Wildberries warehouses, up to 15% of the company's warehouse area could have been affected
After drone attacks on two Wildberries logistics centers in the Moscow and Tambov regions, about 10-15% of all marketplace warehouse areas could have been damaged. This assessment was provided by a source of The Bell publication, familiar with the company's situation.
According to the interlocutor, this does not mean a complete halt to Wildberries' operations, but it could create a serious load on logistics, especially in the Moscow region, which is the largest market for the company.
On the night of July 18, drones attacked Wildberries logistics centers in Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast, and in the city of Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast. According to reports, eight people died and dozens more were injured as a result of the attack. Official data on the exact scale of warehouse damage is not yet available.
Tatyana Kim, head of Wildberries, announced that the company is considering compensation payments to sellers whose goods were lost as a result of the attack. However, she noted that under the current terms, the marketplace is not obliged to compensate for losses for damaged or destroyed goods.
