Next Saturday in Vilnius, a Family Belarusian-Lithuanian Festival with a Literary Stage will be held
On June 20, in Vilnius, at the Sodas2123 space, a family Belarusian-Lithuanian integration festival 'Under the Magic Tree' will be held.

One of the key locations of the festival will be a literary platform featuring Belarusian and Lithuanian writers and artists who work in children's literature, writes bellit.info.
Guests of the literary platform:
Hanna Yankuta — writer, poet, translator. Author of one of the most famous characters in modern Belarusian children's literature — Cat Shprot. Translates, including children's literature, from Polish and English.
Andrei Skurko — poet, translator. Author of several collections of poems for children. Translates children's poetry and prose from Polish and English.
Jurga Vile — writer, translator. Together with illustrator Lina Itagaki, she created one of the most famous Lithuanian books for teenagers — 'Siberian Haiku' («Sibiro haiku»), which is actively translated into other languages.
Virgis Šidlauskas — writer, editor-in-chief of the children's magazine 'Laimiukas', musician. Author of several books for children and teenagers.
Lizaveta Lyankevich — artist, illustrator. Two-time winner of the Tsyotka Award for the best book for children and teenagers in the artistic nomination. Works with both books for young children and teenage literature. Creates illustrations for Belarusian classic works.
Aušra Kiudulaitė — artist, illustrator. One of her most famous works is the book 'Happiness is a Fox' ('Laimė yra Lapė') together with writer Evelina Daciūtė. Books with Aušra's illustrations have been translated into 30 languages.
In addition to discussions and talks, there will be live music, followed by participation in masterclasses by Aušra Kiudulaitė and Liza Lyankevich and drawing your own visual characters. Older children will be able to create their own short story together with teacher and poet Darya Roskach.

During the festival, there will be a stand from the 'Hartayka' bookstore, where you can buy and get books signed by the authors. The festival is organized by the Association of Belarusian Parents in Lithuania.
