Wife of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that their civil marriage is over
She asked to “show restraint and correctness when discussing this topic”.

Anna Hakobyan, who has been the companion of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for 30 years, made an ambiguous statement.
“Dear compatriots, I want to inform you that the ‘issue of my civil marriage’ with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is completed. I ask everyone to show restraint and correctness regarding this topic. Thank you”, she wrote on Facebook.
Nikol Pashinyan himself has not yet commented on his wife's words.
Hakobyan did not clarify whether this means a definitive breakup of the relationship, or if the couple simply decided to officially register their marriage after 30 years of cohabitation.
The couple met while studying at university and raise four children, but their union was never officially registered.
