Three Turkmen poisoned by death caps in Lida were successfully saved
For almost two weeks, doctors at Lida Central District Hospital, and later the Emergency Hospital in Grodno, fought for the lives of three citizens of Turkmenistan. The men were poisoned by death caps, writes "TRK Grodno".

The Turkmen arrived in Belarus for work and were employed in construction in Lida. On August 18, they ate mushrooms, and by the next morning they were in the hospital. On August 21, the patients were transferred to Grodno.
All three were in serious condition. Two patients were admitted to intensive care, and one to the toxicology department. Doctors did everything possible to save them. Medical assistance was provided free of charge, as emergency care is provided to citizens of CIS countries in Belarus without payment.
Now, all the injured are in good condition and have already been discharged from the hospital. After this incident, the citizens of Turkmenistan say they will never eat mushrooms again, and they thank the medics who literally saved their lives.
