"Came to classes with a kitchen knife." Investigation into the murder of a 17-year-old college student in Gomel completed
The incident occurred on March 25.

The tragedy was caused by a conflict between two 17-year-old students of the Gomel State Road Construction College, which took place in the workshop of the training ground.
One of the boys, fighting with a classmate, inflicted stab wounds from which the latter later died in the hospital. The investigation of the particularly serious crime was conducted by an investigative team.
According to the investigation's findings, a prolonged conflict preceded the crime. On that day, the boy came to classes with a kitchen knife. During the attack, he deliberately inflicted stab wounds to vital organs. At the same time, the accused at that moment did not have any mental disorder, was not in a state of affect, and could fully understand the meaning of his actions and control them, the Investigative Committee added.
The investigation qualified the actions of the defendant under Part 1 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code (intentional unlawful deprivation of life of another person). The term of punishment for this article is from 6 to 15 years.
