Zelenskyy: Putin is not ready to stop this war — he is preparing for mobilization
"He wants to do this after the State Duma elections on September 21," said the President of Ukraine.

"Putin is not ready to stop this war — he is preparing for mobilization." This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Sky News.
"There is intelligence data that he [President Vladimir Putin] is preparing for mobilization. He wants to do this after the State Duma elections on September 21. He wants to intensify mobilization. Not openly, because he is afraid of his society, but he will do it in early October, if we do not create problems for him with logistics, weapons, gasoline, diesel, and if our partners do not impose full sanctions for his aggression," he noted.
Zelenskyy believes that this will become "a big problem," as Putin plans to mobilize "from 300 to 500 thousand people."
"For him, mobilizing such a number of people is not so difficult. He will have internal problems with this, because his society — and I saw a poll — opposes mobilization. A significant percentage of the population also opposes the war, but they still support Putin. He will not be able to quickly train these people. And this again means that he will send poorly trained people to the battlefield. And this means heavy losses," said the President of Ukraine.
