Traffic police officers near the village of Malaya Kalpenitsa noticed a motorcyclist who, upon seeing a service vehicle, drove off the road into a field. He was stopped shortly after.
A 13-year-old teenager was behind the wheel. He explained that he had taken the motorcycle from his grandfather, the regional police reported.
The collected materials regarding the minor will be forwarded to the commission for juvenile affairs for consideration.
In accordance with Art. 18.14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, the teenager's grandfather will also be brought to administrative responsibility for transferring control of a vehicle to a person who does not have the right to do so.
The motorcycle has been impounded to a guarded parking lot.
