Belarusian long-haul truck driver detained in Germany, driving with 3.24 per mille of alcohol
Near the German city of Bockenem, Lower Saxony, a truck with a 40-year-old intoxicated Belarusian behind the wheel was stopped. Local police report this, writes the website "Belarus and the World".

On Saturday, July 11, at approximately 9:50 PM, a road user reported a truck moving in violation of traffic rules on highway A7 in the direction of Kassel.
A patrol car soon located the mentioned vehicle and directed the truck to the Ambergau rest area for a check around 10:10 PM.
During the check, officers noticed obvious signs of intoxication in the driver. A test confirmed the suspicions: the measurement showed a preliminary alcohol content of 3.24 per mille in his body.
The driver's license was confiscated, he was taken to the station, and a blood sample was taken for examination. Proceedings have been initiated regarding driving a vehicle while intoxicated.
