The cost of excise stamps for tobacco products has increased several times over
In Belarus, the cost of excise stamps for marking tobacco products has significantly increased . New tariffs are effective from July 1 until December 31, 2026, after which they are planned to be raised again.

Currently, self-adhesive excise stamps for imported tobacco products marked in customs warehouses cost 8 kopecks per piece. For domestic and imported tobacco products, including filtered cigarettes of the first price group, the cost is 3 kopecks per stamp.
From January 1, 2027, prices will increase again. For products in customs warehouses, the cost of one stamp will rise to 10 kopecks, and for other domestic and imported tobacco products — to 4 kopecks.
Previously, since 2019, the cost of one excise stamp was 2 kopecks. Thus, for imported products in customs warehouses, it has increased fourfold, and for other tobacco products — by one and a half times.
This is the first change in the cost of excise stamps in the last seven years.
