In the first round of the tournament, the Belarusian and the Mexican defeated the American-Australian duo of Benjamin Kitty and Matthew Christopher Romios — 6:1, 6:3. The next opponents for the Belarusian and the Mexican will be American Austin Krajicek and Croatian Nikola Mektić — the 14th seeded pair of the tournament.

Ivan Lyutarevich became the first Belarusian tennis player in three years to compete in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament. The last time this happened was in 2023 — when Ilya Ivashka participated in the US Open men's singles.

The Wimbledon tournament will continue until July 12.
