Lithuania refused to participate in the 2027 Women's Junior World Championship in the third division due to the debut of the Belarusian national team, according to "Hockey Exotic".
Now there are four teams left in the division — Belarus, Iran, Bulgaria, and Thailand.
Recall that yesterday it became known that the Belarusian girls' junior national team has been admitted to the Junior World Championship in the third division, which is scheduled to take place next January. Initially, the host country was planned to be chosen between Bulgaria and Lithuania. Since Lithuania withdrew, the tournament will be held in Bulgaria.
