Invited to the reception were Deputy Prime Minister Yury Shuleika, Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov, Health Minister Aliaksandr Khadzhaeu, Education Minister Andrei Ivanets, Industry Minister Andrei Kuznyatsou, and other officials.

"Comrade Kim Jong Un noted that Alexander Lukashenka's visit to the country is an important step in elevating the traditionally friendly relations between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus to a new high level. He joyfully stated that during today's meeting and talks, he reaffirmed the will of the leadership of both countries to further strengthen and develop friendly relations between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus and confirmed the possibility of carrying out many useful endeavors for the prosperity and development of the two countries, and the improvement of the welfare of their peoples," — reports the Korean Central News Agency.

"The reception proceeded from beginning to end in a warm and friendly atmosphere," — the report states.

Lukashenka's visit to the DPRK lasted from March 25-26; yesterday he returned to Minsk.
