Trial begins in Minsk on high-profile case of the Lipskiys, accused of preparing a series of murders
Today, January 30, the Minsk Regional Court began considering the criminal case against the Lipskiy spouses, accused of preparing a series of murders. Their son, we remind you, was fatally wounded during his arrest in August 2024.

According to the investigation, the family acted as an organized group and was preparing to kill dozens of people. The story became particularly resonant after the Investigative Committee revealed details of the murder of a 33-year-old Minsk resident and reported the circumstances of the Lipskiy family's arrest, recalls Onliner.by.
Let's briefly recall the Lipskiy family's story: the family lived in a two-room apartment on Rakasouski Avenue. They moved to Minsk from Svetlogorsk when their only son Sasha was still in school. At first, they got along well with everyone, but then they started to conflict with neighbors and gather information about them.
The key events, after which the Lipskiys began to compile their «execution list,» occurred at the end of 2018, when Alexander attacked a neighbor in the stairwell, Aliaksei (name changed), and broke his finger. Raisa Lipskaya was nearby during the conflict.

A criminal case was initiated against Alexander Lipskiy regarding this incident. The court sentenced him to restricted freedom (4 years of «khimiya,» a type of forced labor), but he soon went into hiding. His mother disappeared shortly after him. Lipskiy's father continued to work and claimed he hadn't seen his son since 2018 and his wife since 2020. As investigators later managed to establish, he also participated in the meticulous planning of the murders.
In November 2021, Alexander Lipskiy, who was wanted, came to the home of Aliaksei's wife's sister—33-year-old Mariya (name changed)—and shot her. The woman was at that moment getting ready to go to kindergarten for her young daughter, while her husband, escaping from the criminal, jumped from the fifth-floor balcony and survived.
By the time of the Lipskiys' arrest in August 2024, Aliaksei's family was forced to change apartments and live in constant tension, fearing for the lives of their loved ones. It turned out not to be in vain: all this time, the Lipskiys, as the investigation established, were preparing to murder several dozen people. The list included everyone involved in the 2019 court case. According to the investigation, the Lipskiys believed that justice had ruined their son's life in this way.
In August 2024, the Lipskiy family was arrested. During the arrest, the son Alexander was fatally wounded. An arsenal of weapons was found in the apartment where the family was hiding: pistols, ammunition, silencers, homemade grenades, and explosives. According to the investigation, «to carry out their plans, the Lipskiy family used conspiracy tactics: wigs, canes, changing clothes on the street.»
In November 2025, the criminal case against the Lipskiy spouses, accused of preparing a series of murders, was referred to court.
