The damaged road signs were noticed on Monday, but it is unknown exactly when they were painted over, writes LSV.
The state company "Latvijas Valsts ceļi" reported that these actions with the road signs were not coordinated with the company. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under part one of Article 185 of the Criminal Law — for intentional destruction or damage to another's property.
