A car was blown up in occupied Sevastopol. Its owner was injured
The explosion occurred approximately 200 meters from the spot where, three weeks ago, Russian naval officer Robert Shageyev — a former commander of a Ukrainian submarine who defected to Russia — died.

On the morning of September 2, a Mazda car exploded on Kolobova Street in Sevastopol.
Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion around 6:45 AM.
The Telegram channel Baza writes that an improvised explosive device might have been placed under the car's bottom. As a result, the owner of the car was injured and taken to the hospital.
The Shot channel confirms the explosion and the man's hospitalization but notes that the circumstances are still being investigated.
This is the second similar explosion in this area in the past month.
On August 13, a few hundred meters from this location, Russian naval officer Robert Shageyev — a former commander of the Ukrainian submarine "Zaporizhzhia" who defected to Russia after the annexation of Crimea — died in an explosion. The FSB stated that they had detained a woman who planted the explosive device on the instructions of Ukrainian special services.
