On the evening of August 25, residents of Zhlobin heard an unusually loud sound and suggested that a jet drone was flying over the city. Reports about this appeared on social media, as noted by the "Flagstok" publication.
Around 5:00 PM, residents from various parts of Zhlobin — in the Lyabyadzyovka area, the 16th microdistrict, Rabochy settlement, and Zakhodny microdistrict — reported a hum similar to the sound of a drone. According to them, the device itself could not be seen due to low cloud cover.
Some townspeople also reported seeing a low-flying fighter jet that same evening. It was observed over the workshops of the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant and in the center of Zhlobin. According to one report, at approximately the same time, the fighter jet was circling over Svetlahorsk as well.
Around 5:00 PM, Ukrainian monitoring channels also reported military aviation activity in the eastern part of Belarus. It was reported that three Su-30 fighter jets had taken to the air.
Meanwhile, since the morning of August 25, groups of Russian jet drones were recorded over Ukraine's Chernihiv region. Around 2:40 PM, six groups simultaneously moved along the already known trajectory along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border from east to west.
