Russian ex-participant of "Dom-2" fined for reposting "Belsat"

The blogger maintains social media accounts where he talks about his life, discusses show business and politics.

Ex-participant of "Dom-2" Rustam Sontsev was fined for reposts of independent media, report "Ostorozhno, Novosti".

Before adding the showman to the register of foreign agents, the Russian Ministry of Justice conducted an "analysis of data from open sources" and found that Sontsev was a participant in the "Dom-2" program, and now lives in the USA and maintains social media accounts where he talks about his life, discusses show business and politics.

The ministry stated that he "periodically posts publications of a destructive nature, containing information discrediting the President of the Russian Federation", and initiated verification measures against him.

Thus, the Ministry of Justice established that Rustam Kalganov (Sontsev's real name) "repeatedly promoted LGBT, and also at least six times reposted materials from 'undesirable' media outlets. For distributing videos from 'Dozhd', 'Belsat', news from 'Meduza', 'Novaya Gazeta. Europe' and 'Vazhnyye Istorii', a protocol was drawn up against Sontsev for distributing materials from undesirable organizations (Art. 20.33 of the Administrative Code).

He was summoned to the Kashirsky City Court, but he did not appear and did not respond to the summons — as a result, he was fined 10 thousand Russian rubles (about 120 dollars).
