The sound of a drone was again heard at night in northern and central Belarus
Residents of the Vitebsk region reported on social media that on the night of August 14, they heard a sound characteristic of a drone flying over, the "Flagstock" publication noted .
The characteristic sound of a drone, as users claim, was heard around 1-2 AM in Vitebsk, Senno, Beshankovichy, and other settlements in the eastern part of the region.
Residents of Staryya Darohi and Babruysk — cities located in central Belarus — also reported a drone with a gasoline engine "like a moped" flying over. There is no information about the exact time of the UAV's movement over this area.
It is known that on the same night, Russia's Leningrad region was attacked by more than 50 Ukrainian drones, resulting in a fire at the Ust-Luga port. One of the drones flew into Latvia, where it was shot down by NATO fighters.
As "Flagstock" reported earlier, drone incursions into Belarus have practically not been recorded over the past month. Ukrainian monitoring channels also did not report any violation of Belarusian airspace by Russian UAVs. The only possible incursion could have occurred around 4 AM on August 14, when a drone moved towards Belarus through the Chernobyl zone in Ukraine.
