The fountain near MAZ Culture Palace will start operating next year
It will be necessary to reconstruct both the engineering networks themselves and the basin.
The reconstruction of the fountain near the MAZ Culture Palace is planned to be completed by the beginning of the next fountain season. Alexander Yermalovich, General Director of "Minskzelenstroi", told about this, Minsk-News writes.
"Minskzelenstroi" manages 42 fountains, two of which were handed over to housing and communal services this year.
— One of them is located on Mayakovsky Street, next to the building of the Leninsky district administration. It only needed a small repair and is already functioning, — noted Alexander Yermalovich.
The second transferred object is located on Partizansky Avenue, near the MAZ Culture Palace. The situation here is more complicated, as all the fountain's communications have fallen into disrepair.
— In fact, it will be necessary to reconstruct both the engineering networks themselves and the basin. But I am confident that we will cope with this during the winter period, before the next season of fountain operation. Next year, this object will acquire a slightly different look and will start working, — assured the General Director of "Minskzelenstroi".
Yermalovich also touched upon the issue of the fountain above the "Stolitsa" shopping center on Independence Square, which does not always work.
— The operation of each fountain is carried out according to a schedule. This is due both to the technical capabilities of the pumps and the need to clean the basin, as drainage holes get clogged with debris and leaves. We coordinate the operating mode with the administrations of the respective districts, — said A. Yermalovich.
