Reconstruction of Chelyuskintsev Park to Begin in Autumn

The reconstruction of Chelyuskintsev Park in Minsk will start in October 2026 and continue until the end of 2027. The details were revealed by Alexander Yermalovich, General Director of "Minskzelenstroi", as reported by "Minsk-Novosti".

The renovation concept will be almost identical to the one being implemented in Gorky Central Children's Park. The tiled pavement in the recreation area will be updated, and engineering networks will be replaced: the old utilities were laid long ago and can no longer cope with the increased energy load of commercial facilities. The latter, by the way, will also change.

Special attention will be paid to entertainment infrastructure.

Previously, city residents were concerned about the fate of three popular attractions — the "Ferris Wheel", the "Roller Coaster", and the "Rook". Alexander Yermalovich assured that they would not disappear but would be replaced.

— These attractions have served their specified operational life and are now being disposed of. After the reconstruction is complete, similar attractions will be installed in the park, and several more will appear – by the next season.

The first landscaped part of the park is expected to open by the start of the attraction season, and the full-scale renovation of the territory is planned to be completed by the end of 2027.
