Several publishing houses will take part in the fair.

On August 9, a book market dedicated to the memory of writer and journalist Sviatlana Kurs will be held in Warsaw. This event is meant to be a continuation of her words about "a reserve of good experiences and the light of optimism," writes Reform.news.
A few months ago, Sviatlana Kurs wrote these words on social media: «Dears, have fun, play and carouse. May you have a reserve of good experiences and the light of your optimism in old age». The project team suggests gathering to have a good time and support Belarusian culture.
Publishing houses participating in the fair include: Polatskiya Labirynty, Myane Nyama, Kamunikat, Magenta, Bukinist:ka Press, RozUM Media, Kirma.sh, ACHK-Belarus. Books from Pflaumbaum and Gutenberg Publisher will also be available for purchase.
Part of the proceeds from the market will be directed by the publishers to Sviatlana Kurs's family, as well as to a Prize named after her, which the organizers will announce on the eve of the event.
The idea of establishing the Eva Vezhnavets Prize was supported by the writer's close circle and Nobel laureate Sviatlana Alexievich. Donations will also be possible on-site.
The market program will also feature a performance by culturologist and critic Maksim Zhbankou: "ShockingCult live!". The artist will read new texts accompanied by acoustic psychedelia.
