Ministry of Culture revealed which palaces and manors will be restored in the near future

Today, the state list includes 5696 historical and cultural values. These are monuments of architecture, urban planning, history, archaeology, art, as well as protected sites.

According to the official, more and more tourists are discovering the so-called "castle Belarus". Once, there were over 150 castles and manors on the territory of the country, but only a part of them have survived to this day.

Currently, documentation is being prepared for the third stage of restoration of the Kreva Castle gallery, as well as the second stage of reconstruction of the Old Castle in Grodno. Design work continues in the former palace complex in the urban settlement of Zhaludok, Shchuchyn District. Projects for the restoration of three launch complexes of Navahrudak Castle are being adjusted.

The reconstruction of Count Potocki's manor house in Berezino is close to completion. The treasury is also being restored as part of the manor and park ensemble in Stankava, Dzyarzhynsk District.

In the agricultural town of Zhylichy, Kirov District, which is becoming an increasingly popular tourist center, a hotel is planned to be built. According to preliminary plans, it should open in 2027.

At Halshany Castle, the first launch complex of the north-eastern building has already been put into operation. In Zhirovichi, the reconstruction of the St. George Church of the Holy Dormition Monastery has been completed. This object is of great importance for the development of pilgrimage tourism.

Work also continues at Brest Fortress within the framework of a joint project of the "Union State". Capital repairs, restoration, and museumification of the north-western part of the citadel have been carried out here, and a memorial zone "Sorrow" has been created, dedicated to women who lost their loved ones during the war and in camps. A new excursion route has been developed for visitors.

One of the main symbols of the Gomel region, the Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace, has also been renovated. In parallel, the unique Paskevich burial chapel, built in a Russian architectural style rare for Belarus, has been restored.

Despite repair work, historical complexes continue to receive visitors. Cultural and historical events are regularly held on their territories. In Kreva, the festivals "Ceramics of Kreva" and "Kreva at the Crossroads of Time" are organized, in Halshany - the theatrical program "Evenings at Sophia Halshany", in the Old Castle of Grodno, a historical reconstruction "One Day in the Life of a 16th-Century City" is held, and in Navahrudak, medieval culture festivals are constantly taking place.
