Have 'Geelys' Rotted? Oh Yes, They Have! Here's What a Geely Atlas Pro Looks Like After Three Belarusian Winters
A Vitebsk workshop, specializing in car body repair and anti-corrosion body treatment, demonstrated what happened to a Geely crossover after three Belarusian winters.

The video shows a 2022 Geely Atlas Pro with 95 thousand kilometers on the odometer.
Despite the fact that the four-year-old crossover has only been through three winters, the car's undercarriage has many spots of corrosion.
"And underneath, everything is already a mess, a lot of rust. Rust is coming from the metal joints, everything is flaking off, plus in the hidden cavities, the situation is the same," says the master, demonstrating how much corrosion there is in a car from 2022.

The video shows that not a single element on the undercarriage remained untouched by corrosion.
There is also a lot of corrosion on the beams and other body elements. The rust spared neither the frame rails nor the reinforcements.
Besides the areas where corrosion has already significantly eaten away at the metal, this Geely also has no shortage of places where the paint layer has only recently fallen off, exposing the bare metal.

Notably, corrosion is primarily occurring in areas where fasteners are located, which is particularly dangerous in the future when the corrosion eats through the metal.

The wheel arches look no less horrifying. To avoid having to weld this Geely after a few more Belarusian winters, the owner will have to spend a significant amount of money on rust removal, followed by priming and anti-corrosion treatment.
