The second part of the "Pradmova" literary festival will take place in Vilnius next week

On October 16-18, Vilnius will become the second city to host the "Pradmova" intellectual book festival (Wrocław was the first this year).

The main events of the festival will take place at Tautinių bendrijų namai (House of National Communities) at Raugyklos st. 25. Children's events will be held at the "Belarusian School in Vilnius" project (Ivan Lutskievich Belarusian Museum, Vilniaus, 20), reports bellit.info.

October 16, Friday

Tautinių bendrijų namai (House of National Communities), Raugyklos st. 25.

18.00—18.15 — Grand opening of the festival.

19.00—20.00 — Discussion "How to Be Europe?"

Belarus is also Europe; its center is near Polotsk. But in the EU, Belarusians still don't quite feel at home. We are reluctant to connect: leave us alone, we will suffer here on our own. International projects are a rare exception, translations are only on holidays. How to be Europe? How to speak so that others hear you? How to make contact with holders of interesting passports from EU countries? And are they even interested in us?

Participants: Alena Hlukhavа, Dzmitry Strotsev, moderator Siarhei Shupa.
