Complained of pain, then disappeared. How are the searches for the Minsk resident who went missing two weeks ago progressing?
Searches for Aliaksandr Narkevich continue near Minsk. The main theory: the missing person remained in the forest.

The 41-year-old man stopped making contact on the afternoon of September 29 — since then, nothing has been known about his whereabouts. The missing man's wife reported that in the last few weeks before his disappearance, Aliaksandr complained of inexplicable pain and was in a very depressed emotional state.
On the morning of September 30, the family's car was found in the Smalyavichy district. The car was locked, and there was no phone, work tablet, keys to two apartments, or wallet in the cabin, all of which the man had taken with him when he was going to work on the day of his disappearance.
All these items, as well as other traces of Aliaksandr, as of October 9, have not yet been found either in the nearest forest or anywhere else.

Pavel Yakhimovich, head of the "Sirius" search and rescue team, told Onliner about the status of the searches:
— To date, excellent informational work has been carried out in the nearest settlements — all villages are plastered with flyers. Police officers have examined all nearby abandoned buildings. As for the searchers, people worked on the water twice — on Saturday and yesterday. Relatives and friends of the man are actively participating in the search.
Along with foot groups, cynologists are also working on site. On Thursday, three canine teams were deployed, and last week, two dogs searched the area. Their use is especially justified in these searches, given the large number of marshy and difficult-to-pass areas.
The main theory: the missing person remained in the natural environment.
There is also a theory that, given his state, he might have left the car and gone somewhere into settlements. Since the man told his relatives that he wanted to be alone, we are not definitively ruling out this option either.
The question arises: what connected Aliaksandr, who is known to live in the Frunzenski district of the capital, with the vicinity of Smalyavichy? Apparently, nothing.
In any case, neither relatives nor friends could recall any details. The missing man is an avid fisherman, but his fishing companion claimed that Aliaksandr had never gone fishing in these places.
— Now we will mainly involve the most trained searchers and canine teams in the searches. If the weather permits, we will conduct the next large-scale outing on Sunday. Further on, in any case, we will expand the radius, but work will begin specifically on flooded areas together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police officers, and experienced searchers. Untrained people — volunteers, friends, and relatives — will certainly not be sent there.

We ask everyone who saw Aliaksandr on September 29 after 3:00 PM or has information about his whereabouts to report it to the team: +375 25 633— 28‑03 or to the police (102).
