At Saky airfield, the SBU claims seven hangars were hit, where Su-30SM, Su-30 fighters, and Su-24 front-line bombers were located. According to preliminary data from the Ukrainian side, at least seven aircraft were destroyed or damaged.
This is already the second strike on this airfield within a week.
It is also reported that at Gvardeyskoye airfield, two hangars were damaged, which stored Shahed-type drones and aviation equipment.
The SBU notes that both airfields are important aviation bases for Russian troops in Crimea and are used for combat sorties over the territory of Ukraine. The head of the agency, Yevhen Khmara, stated that Ukrainian special services would continue to strike military infrastructure to reduce Russia's capabilities to wage war.
No video footage of the strikes has been provided yet.
