New Trucks Exempted from Recycling Fee

Preferential conditions have been introduced in Belarus for international cargo carriers. The corresponding decree was signed by Alexander Lukashenka.

According to the document, in 2026, trucks not older than three years from the date of manufacture, and complying with environmental class 5 or higher, are exempt from paying the recycling fee. The exemption also applies to trailers and semi-trailers.

It is expected that these measures will help Belarusian carriers update their fleet and increase their competitiveness in the international market. The authorities believe this will contribute to the growth of transport service exports and the development of export-oriented sectors of the economy.
