«He cried a lot, said everyone recognized him»: a precinct police lieutenant colonel ensured his ex-wife was brought to court

A real series unfolds on Anzhalika Varabyova's Threads page. The woman tells either a drama or a comedy — how she fell in love with a security officer and thought he would be a rock-solid support. But it turned out that the lieutenant colonel was a mama's boy who constantly exchanged messages with his mother and older sister.

Anzhalika describes how her mother-in-law (to whom the young couple was supposed to go to the dacha to help with repairs) would come into the couple's room in the morning and start kissing her son, who was lying in bed with his wife.

The last attempt to save the marriage was a joint trip to a sanatorium. The woman hoped to "glue back what had cracked." But even there, the security officer constantly sent reports to his mother and sister. Anzhalika returned with the decision to file for divorce — but unexpectedly found out she was pregnant.

As a result, the marriage ended badly. This January, the couple went to court to finalize their divorce, the ex-wife describes. Now Anzhalika accuses Aliaksei of many things: from taking official documents from work to domestic violence.

The woman claims that for many years the security officer abused his wife and daughters, driving the older child (Anzhalika's daughter from her first marriage) to attempt suicide: "When he grabbed my throat, I said: 'Hit me!' He said: 'I will destroy you like this, I have connections and shoulder straps'."

According to her, several court hearings have already taken place. Anzhalika writes that her ex-husband lost all the cases and is now obligated to pay her 15,400 rubles — but asks the court for an installment plan for two years.

It should be noted that Aliaksei's career was on the rise earlier. According to Belpol, until 2018, Hubich worked in the Department for the Execution of Punishments and the main department of internal affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

In 2020 (when the couple met), the man was a lieutenant colonel in the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, working in the international cooperation department as a senior inspector for special assignments.

As recently as 2024, Hubich attended an ideological lecture for the leadership and employees of the central apparatus and central subordination units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs — listening about the Union State.

And last year he flew to Vietnam on work matters.

But something broke in Aliaksei's career — he was demoted and sent to work as a precinct police officer.

Anzhalika claims that all this is due to her efforts. The woman reached the Minister of Internal Affairs — after which Hubich received a severe disciplinary sanction and was demoted.

The security officer, however, was offended by his unexpected popularity on social networks. Anzhalika recounted that she spent four hours at the police station — it turned out her ex-husband had filed a complaint against her for disclosing personal information.

Now she reported that a court hearing took place: Anzhalika was fined 5 base units (which is 225 rubles). She says her ex-husband "cried a lot, said everyone recognized him."

The woman believes she did not violate anything, as an article with her ex-husband's name, surname, and position has already been published by the newspaper "Prystalichcha." In addition, the precinct police officer's name and surname are displayed on various stands.
