The US President insists that his aides organize a meeting with the DPRK leader this autumn, writes The Wall Street Journal, citing sources.

According to WSJ data, Trump aims to revive the ambitious diplomatic initiative of his first term, aimed at persuading Kim to abandon his country's nuclear weapons program.
According to WSJ sources, Trump has privately discussed the possibility of a personal meeting with Kim during his next trip to Asia, which could take place in November, when world leaders gather for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shenzhen.
However, official preparations for Trump's meeting with the DPRK leader have not yet begun.
