The jury included writer, culturologist, editor Siarhei Kalienda; journalist and writer, last year's Giedroyc Prize laureate Siarhei Dubavets; translator, editor, and literary critic Yana Bernatovich; Belarusian playwright, critic, poet, literary critic Siarhei Kavalyou; and writer, translator, and literary critic Hanna Yankuta.
Next, a longlist will be determined, then a shortlist (6 books), and the award ceremony itself will take place on November 7 in Gdańsk.
This year, the award will be presented for the 15th time. Its first laureate in 2012 was Pavel Kastsiukevich for the book "Belarusian National Team in Minor Sports."
