Kupalauski Theatre Presents "The Black Castle of Olshany" Performance
The premiere of the classical novel by Uladzimir Karatkevich will take place on June 30 on the Main Stage of the theatre.
It was previously reported that this would be an adaptation of the famous novel. The director is a young artist, known for his work at the Gorky National Academic Drama Theatre - David Razumov.
"Three centuries of a locked secret. A cipher in an ancient folio, a series of strange deaths, and a legend promising untold treasures to anyone who descends into the castle catacombs. But Anton Kosmich comes to Olshany not for treasures, but for the truth. Trying to untangle a knot of someone else's sins, he himself becomes a target. Can rational reason overcome the mystical curse of the past when it already stares at you from the cold gleam of a mirror?" – the annotation reads.
It seems that tickets are already sold out, and the performance is not on the schedule for July.
