Zelenskyy: I am ready for direct talks with Putin to end this war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced his readiness for direct talks with Putin and complained about the delay of the US delegation's visit.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kyiv, emphasized that Ukraine supports any format to end hostilities and cannot afford to wait: «We are in constant contact with the American side regarding our negotiators. We are waiting for the arrival of the negotiating group, but, in my opinion, it is taking too long. Unfortunately, for the US, Ukraine is currently not in focus — for them, the issue of Iran is number 1. Unfortunately, we are in the queue of these wars,» he said.
Zelenskyy said he is ready for direct talks with the Russian President.
«We support any format, and I am ready for direct talks with Putin to end this war, rather than waiting in line until everyone finishes all conflicts in the world and then it comes to us.»
The President of Ukraine admitted that the arrival of the previously announced envoys of US President Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner is delayed, and there is currently no certainty regarding the date of their visit.
