«This is a sign that the driver is a boor». Minsk residents angered by a Russian car. What is it this time?
In the center of Minsk, near a cafe, passers-by noticed an SUV with Russian license plates, whose owner demonstrated yet another example of Russian drivers' insolence. A photo of the unusual 'tuning' was shared by Threads user Yaroslav.

A regular construction glove hung on the license plates of the parked car, covering the first digits. The author of the post ironically suggested to subscribers to guess the purpose of this accessory: whether it's an 'amulet against fines', an 'invisibility' mode, or simply a sign of 'I'm a guest'.
Most commentators did not share the author's amusement, considering such behavior disrespectful to another country.
«They want to violate traffic rules and leave the country without fines. Disgraceful».
«We don't need such guests».
«This is a sign that the driver is a boor».
«Enough money for the car, but none left for fines and parking».
«In Gomel, over the past 15 years, I've noticed: as soon as the license plates are from the Russian Federation, in 90 percent of cases, they definitely don't comply with traffic rules. I don't like this statistic».
«Belarus lived without problems, and then the 'elder brother' arrived».
Some users tried to suggest that the driver accidentally forgot the glove after some repair, but the author of the post dispelled doubts — exactly the same accessory hung on the front license plate of the car.
The official account of the capital's police in Threads reacted to the incident. The administrator reported that the information had been forwarded to traffic police officers for verification.
This is not the first time that foreign drivers have caught the attention of the Minsk State Automobile Inspectorate thanks to social media. Previously, a citizen of Kazakhstan was held accountable for parking her car directly on the sidewalk near 'Akademkniga'. During the investigation, it was revealed that she also had other violations, including parking in a disabled spot near the 'Zamok' shopping center and transporting a child without a special car seat.
"Thank you, Lena! Continue observing." The officer who wrote to Kharysava, lurked in political emigration chats, and even offered some girls to exchange nudes
