An advertisement for an apartment rental in Minsk went viral on Threads. It's all about the price tag — 15,000 rubles, or just over 5300 dollars a month, writes Tochka.by.
Some users even thought the author of the post accidentally added an extra zero, but no.
We are talking about a four-room apartment on Starazhoŭskaja Street. The total area of the accommodation is 207 m².
Inside — three separate bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a panoramic view of the Svislach River from the 11th floor.
But the real highlight is the number of bathrooms. The advertisement states that each bedroom has its own private toilet. In addition, another one is provided for guests.
Judging by the photos, the interior is made in a modern premium style: expensive finishes, designer lamps and furniture. In short, this option is clearly not for those looking for a one-room apartment near the subway.
The advertisement quickly gathered dozens of comments. Some users admitted that they had not even suspected the existence of such rental prices in Minsk.
Others began to compare the apartment with foreign real estate. According to commentators, for such money, and sometimes even cheaper, one can rent a luxurious villa somewhere on the seashore.
However, most Belarusians reacted to the advertisement with humor. Here are some of the funniest comments:
- "Are you renting by the second?"
- "I'll take it for 15 minutes of my salary!"
- "Can students apply?"
- "It's nice that I am the target audience of this post. For a second, I felt rich."
- "For that kind of money, the apartment viewing should be filmed by Spielberg."
- "Probably an extra zero."
- "Did you sit on the keyboard?"
- "Probably, you can move in there with a bison."
- "Urgently looking for 10-15 people for co-living."
