In Minsk, a man poured a woman's champagne down the sink, for which he received a knife to the stomach
In Minsk, a 39-year-old woman is accused of intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm on her husband. The criminal case has already been sent to court, reports the "Minsk-Novosti" agency.

The husband and wife lived in a rented apartment on Akademika Karskaha Street. One day the woman wanted to drink, so her husband went to the store for two bottles of champagne for her and beer for himself. They sat in the kitchen, drinking and talking.
When the woman noticed that her husband was intoxicated, she reprimanded him, as he still had to work remotely. However, the man continued to drink beer. This angered his wife, and she knocked his glass of foamy drink off the table, which shattered.
In response, the husband took the unfinished bottle of champagne and began pouring the drink down the sink. At that moment, the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the stomach.
Realizing what she had done, she tried to provide first aid to her husband. However, the victim's condition worsened, so the woman called an ambulance. Before the medics arrived, she washed the knife and cleaned up the apartment. The husband and wife told the medics and police that the man was allegedly wounded by unknown assailants while returning from the store.
However, the truth later came out, and a criminal case was initiated against the woman. Experts concluded that the man sustained severe, life-threatening bodily injuries.
According to Andrei Serbun, Deputy Prosecutor of Frunzensky District, the accused has a higher education, is not officially employed anywhere, and has no prior criminal record. She has two children from her first marriage, who live with their father.
The woman was charged under Part 1 of Article 147 of the Criminal Code — intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to life. The accused fully admitted her guilt. Personal recognizance was applied as a measure of restraint against her.
