A New Reality Show for Finding Love Launched on STB. Participants are Offered to Smell Sweaty T-Shirts and Milk a Goat
In the show "Formula of Love," the heroes were tested in various ways.

Yulia Krynitskaya and Anton Sankevich became the hosts of the show on STB. He, by the way, is not from television, but the head of the ideological work department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

Each episode features six participants — three women and three men. To pair them up, various tasks were devised, meant to engage the five senses.
For the first episode, the screenwriters seemed to use all possible clichés about love — from butterflies in the stomach to "women love with their ears." At some point, you start to worry that the hosts' overly sweet words will raise your blood sugar levels.
By the way, "Miss Belarus" Eleonora Kachalouskaya helped find participants for "Formula of Love." Even the Stalinist-yabatka from Gomel Vitaly Drabysheuski received an offer to participate (it's relevant to him, as his wife left him a few years ago due to the excessive attention of law enforcement to the man).
The premiere episode featured blogger Karalina Shadurskaya (who confessed she wouldn't mind if her partner earned less than her — as this has been the case with all men in her life), café manager Lyudmila Markouskaya (who came looking for a brutal man of Caucasian appearance), and restaurant administrator Alesia Apanasovich (whose main requirement was for the man to be handy — able to chop wood and fix an electrical outlet).

And they had to choose partners from entrepreneur Barys Krautsou (who immediately warned that he wouldn't go above and beyond for a girl), artist Dzmitry Heorhiu (who described himself as a narcissist looking for a "sexotachka" [a somewhat derogatory term for someone interested in sex/intimacy]), and financial consultant Uladzimir Shulha (who confessed he was sometimes an absolute bore).

In the first "experiment," participants were played recordings of each other's voices, and they had to decide which one they liked more. Before this, the organizers had them read various literary fragments — from Tatyana's letter to Eugene Onegin to "The Star of Venus."
Already at this stage, the girls were shocked by how unpleasant the voices of their potential partners were. The men also did not rate the participants very highly, but they still found something to like.

During the second "experiment," participants had to smell clothes. The hosts explained: three days before filming, participants were given T-shirts and instructed to wear them while going about their usual activities. Using any aromatic products was forbidden.
It was obvious that the participants found it unpleasant. Dzmitry confessed that even before opening the first package, he realized he wouldn't like the smell of that T-shirt — and this was later confirmed.
"It was as if someone had fried chicken there, and then gone out onto the balcony to smoke a cigarette... It was simply the stench of a carefree male life," Karalina shared her impressions.
The smell of one man's T-shirt was even noticed by the hosts, who were standing at a distance.
Interestingly, its owner immediately realized he had managed to stand out. Barys confessed that he had worn it twice to a workout. That's why it turned out to be a biological weapon.
However, some also found T-shirts that smelled pleasant.
In the third stage, participants were offered to taste the favorite food of their potential partners. In the fourth, they were allowed to touch hands through a wall. And in the fifth, they were finally given a minute and a half to look at the other participants.
Here, some experienced shock, as there were instances where a girl thought a guy suited her based on all other contests, but she found him completely unappealing externally. Another realized that the participant she liked visually resembled her past partner very much.
In short, there was plenty of disappointment on all sides.
After these torments, the participants were sent on a "special assignment" — to a hut in the middle of the forest. For some reason, it was decided that this would help the guys and girls get closer. Apparently, people reveal themselves better in extreme conditions.

They still had to reach the humble dwelling (which they called "Love Farmstead") through some swamp. Already here, one of the men had a fit of hysterics.

Karalina tried to maintain some level of positivity, even if just on the surface: "Think about when we'll ever get into such a sh*t-hole again."

The semi-ruined house also made an impression: furniture older than any of the contestants, dirty dishes, trash everywhere. Simply scenes from a horror movie. And people had dreamed they would be taken to the show's sponsor's resort!

The group was divided into pairs and given individual tasks — to clean up, heat the house, prepare food, and so on.

They even had to milk a goat — but the guys actually enjoyed it.

The overall atmosphere could be described as "at least they didn't kill each other."

However, the main part of the program unexpectedly became the night. Despite their fatigue, the group spent almost the entire time in heartfelt conversations.

As a result, two couples formed in the show's finale — they were given vacation packages. They promised that this time it wouldn't be to a hut, but to a Belarusian sanatorium.
