Germany, France, and Britain are developing a plan to involve Russia in negotiations

These three countries believe that the moment Putin will be forced to sit at the negotiating table is near.

A group of key European allies of Ukraine — Germany, France, and Great Britain — are jointly developing plans with Kyiv to bring Russia to negotiations with the aim of ending the war, as they see a shift in dynamics that strengthens the position of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, writes Bloomberg.

Europe's three largest economies have also discussed this issue with their Ukrainian counterparts, Bloomberg sources reported on condition of anonymity.

According to Bloomberg sources, amidst the protracted US-led negotiations and increasing Russian troop losses in a battlefield stalemate, these three countries see an opportunity to potentially bring Putin to the negotiating table.

"Pressure on the Kremlin is also intensifying as Ukrainian forces achieve increasing success in drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, and certain signs of resistance to Putin's war emerge at the highest levels in Moscow," the publication states.

By holding talks now, allies aim to avoid another winter during which Russia is likely to intensify attacks on civilians and energy infrastructure, as Putin tries to undermine Ukrainian morale.

Bloomberg sources emphasized that the final decision on whether to continue attempts at negotiations with Russia rests with Zelenskyy, and that European countries will not pressure the Ukrainian president to accept a strategy he disagrees with.

According to the publication's sources, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is expected to hold talks with German Chancellor Scholz and French President Macron in the coming days.

Zelenskyy has warned that Ukraine urgently needs additional Patriot systems and other air defense assets, as Russia continues to bomb the country's cities.

Last month, he stated that Europe should try to play its part in negotiation efforts, which have so far been predominantly led by the US. The Ukrainian president has repeatedly called on allies to increase pressure on Moscow, writes "Ukrainska Pravda."

Какие они все смешные и недалёкие. Лучший план это победа на поле боя. А потом безоговорочная капитуляция кремля. Затем международный трибунал. Все западные политики трусы.
