In Uzda District, a Driver Ran Over a Woman Lying on the Road and Fled the Scene
According to data from the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI), around 04:25 AM, a woman was on the roadway on the 35th kilometer of the P-23 "Minsk — Mikashevichi" highway towards Slutsk. It is reported that she was lying on the road and might have been in a state of severe alcoholic intoxication.

According to preliminary information, an unknown car drove directly over this woman. After the collision, the driver left the scene of the accident and did not stop.
The 64-year-old woman died on the spot.
Currently, law enforcement officers are investigating all circumstances of the incident, an investigative-operational group is working at the scene, and a search for the driver is underway.
