Budanov: Zelensky instructed to end the war as soon as possible, preferably by winter

“I confirm, this is indeed his effort — to stop hostilities as soon as possible, preferably by winter. And as the Head of the President's Office, I will certainly do everything to achieve the goal set by the President. In my opinion, it is absolutely correct, timely, and well-thought-out,” Budanov said.
To a clarifying question from journalists about whether such a goal is realistic, Budanov answered affirmatively: “Realistic.”
According to him, Ukraine possesses sufficient capabilities to try to implement this plan in practice.
“And if Russia refuses in the end — that can also happen, don't forget. However, there are now real signs that the foundation for stopping hostilities already exists,” he emphasized.
Last week, after Volodymyr Zelenskyy's meeting with the 'Servant of the People' faction, it became known that Ukraine expects the cessation of hostilities by November. As a source from RBC-Ukraine explained, this is due to the electoral processes in the USA.
