Russian coach Dmitry Kvartalnov has officially left Dinamo-Minsk, reports the "Bisons'" press service.
"Today, a previously scheduled meeting took place between the club's management and Dmitry Kvartalnov, during which the specialist announced that he had accepted an offer to lead another club and had already signed a contract. Dinamo-Minsk thanks Dmitry Vyacheslavovich for a three-year cycle of work and wishes him success in his further coaching career," the statement reads.
Under Kvartalnov's management, who coached the club for two years, the "Bisons" had their best regular season in their history this year, finishing second in the Western Conference.
In the first round of the playoffs, Minsk Dinamo confidently defeated their Moscow counterparts with a 4:0 series score. In the second round, the Belarusian club lost to Ak Bars with a 0:4 series score.
In the 2024-2025 season, they passed the first stage of the playoffs for the first time.
