Melitina Staniuta's fiancé proposed in two languages: one of them is Belarusian
Multiple medalist of world championships in rhythmic gymnastics Melitina Staniuta does not reveal the name of her fiancé, but has revealed some new details.
A happy Staniuta wrote on Instagram that she wants to share some facts.
«We have the same zodiac sign — Scorpio;
we have 371 days difference in age (he is older);
he is Breton (Northern France);
we have the same car brand (coincidence);
he speaks 4 languages, I speak five».
«And he proposed in two languages: first he asked in French, and then — in Belarusian! It's nice that the Frenchman proposed to me not only in his own language, but also learned it in Belarusian,» she added.
Melitina answered the guy «Oui» — «yes» in French.
Her fiancé proposed to her in Prague during a surprise trip — the gymnast didn't know where she was going until the last moment, she was simply told to pack a suitcase. Melitina thought it would be a winter Christmas trip.
In 2020, the outstanding athlete signed a letter for new fair elections and against violence and was forced to emigrate. Today she trains children around the world and lives in France.
