Remember the "magic bunny"? He now works as a conductor and performs at concerts in the Belarusian embassy

Now the guy is 23 years old. He studies symphonic conducting at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and also studies academic vocals. He says he enrolled through the general competition.

Meanwhile, the fourth-year student has a lot of work.

"90% of it is related to vocals. I perform a lot at the Belarusian embassy, at various government concerts in Moscow. Recently I was at a corporate event for the CSTO General Staff. I mainly perform academic music.

"They ask me to sing 'Magic Bunny' (laughs). But I don't perform it. Not because of principles, it's just that the song has lived its life, it's for a child's age."

The guy announces that he is about to release his first three pop tracks, for which he wrote both the lyrics and the music himself.

Yura also works as a conductor in the conservatory orchestras. Plus, various Moscow orchestras invite him to perform.

"I'm not in Moscow for the first year. During this time, I've performed at competitions, concerts, and work just comes naturally," the student explains how he gets so many orders. "Does the Eurovision fame help? I hide it very skillfully (laughs). Something inside doesn't allow me to brag about it.

I'm a completely different person now, and I'm pleased when my current work is appreciated, not just: oh, 'bunny', we should invite him.

But, of course, it's not without it. Many people recognize me. Once there was a concert in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and during the general rehearsal with the orchestra, the professor said to me: "So you're a star." When they were printing posters, he didn't know how my surname was spelled, so he googled it – and it immediately brought up the "bunny". And after the concert, the professor introduced me as an outstanding artist of the Belarusian stage."

Yura doesn't yet know if he will return to the Belarusian stage after the academy. He says Moscow is a priority because there is already a groundwork for further development here. He rarely appears in Belarus now, only to see friends and parents.

In his free time, the guy plays sports.

"I love football. I'm a fan of "Barcelona". If I have time, I watch matches, read reviews. My musician friends and I gather once or twice a month, rent an arena, and play football.

I try to visit the gym. But I also love swimming and big tennis. In the summer, when I come to Minsk, my friends and I always go to the court."
