A photo of nude Madonna was sold for £15,000 reports The Sun. The final sum paid by an anonymous person turned to be thrice higher than the initial bid.

The photo shows nude 31-year-old blond Madonna lying on a bed and smoking a cigarette. The seller of the photo Judith Eurich said, “It is an absolutely stunning image and it is just a beautiful tone of grey. It is not just black and white it is grey and silvery.”

The image was taken by Steven Meisel.
