Missile and drone strikes deep into both Ukraine and Russia yesterday were of moderate intensity and did not yield significant results.
On the night of July 4-5, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with one Kh-31 anti-radar missile, three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles, and 125 attack drones. Ukraine's air defense destroyed 112 drones and three guided air missiles, while the anti-radar missile did not reach its target, the Air Force of Ukraine reported.
Yesterday, July 4, Russia launched one missile strike, using two missiles, carried out 58 air strikes, dropping 252 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russians carried out 2775 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 46 using multiple launch rocket systems.
According to the Ukrainian army, the total losses of Russians over the past day amounted to 1290 people killed and wounded. As practice shows, Kyiv's data on Russian casualties generally coincide with the data provided by the analysis of inheritance cases in Russia.
In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on July 4, air defense destroyed 389 Ukrainian UAVs.
"During the night, in the period from 20:00 Moscow time on July 3 to 07:00 Moscow time on July 4, duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 389 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
UAVs were recorded over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tver, Tula regions, Krasnodar Krai, Moscow region, the Ministry of Defense claims.
