"Russia 1" called the assassination of rapper Kyivstoner a "matter of honor"

Military correspondent Sergey Zenin, on the "Russia 1" TV channel, effectively predicted the assassination of rapper Kyivstoner (real name Albert Vasilyev), whom the FSB accuses of involvement in organizing a drone attack in the Moscow region.

The journalist called the "elimination" of the musician a "matter of honor" for Russian intelligence and stated that he might face the fate of Russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov, who was shot dead in Spain after flying a military helicopter to Ukraine, writes "Agenstvo".

In a segment of the "Vesti" program about the FSB's special operation to prevent a drone attack on the Moscow region, shown on Tuesday, the reporter called the rapper a "swine in human form."

— "A drug dealer with Ukrainian and US passports. And now also a terrorist, whose elimination will be a matter of honor for our intelligence," Zenin said.

According to him, the rapper lives "somewhere in Slovakia" and has a "lair in Spain."

"They will find him. Not for the first time. Remember how the traitor-pilot, who killed the crew and hijacked a combat helicopter to Ukraine, ended his existence. In one of the Spanish provinces, a bullet-riddled body was run over by a car. Then it was a random coincidence. Why couldn't something similar happen accidentally again?" Zenin stated.

Kyivstoner is a Ukrainian rapper, video blogger, and actor who gained fame as a member of the band "Griby" and worked in Russia for a long time. Shortly before the Russian invasion, he returned to Ukraine, and after the start of the war, he condemned Russia's actions.

On Tuesday morning, the FSB announced that it had prevented an attack on military facilities in the Moscow region using 35 drones. The special service accuses a former Wagner PMC fighter, two Moldovan citizens, and Kyivstoner of involvement in the attack.

In response to the FSB's accusations, the rapper himself posted a story saying: "What the f***...?". He then posted another video where he noted that he didn't know "what he did to deserve such attention":

— I'm resting, bro, playing Dota. What the hell organization of anything?

Maksim Kuzminov, with whom the "Vesti" military correspondent compared Kyivstoner, flew a Russian Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in August 2023, for which he received 500 thousand dollars. During the flight, two crew members of the helicopter were killed.

Later, "Russia 1" aired a segment claiming that Russian special services had already received an order for Kuzminov's "liquidation."

In February 2024, he was killed in Spain, where he had moved from Ukraine under a different surname. The Wall Street Journal wrote that the perpetrators received cash from Russian officials working in Vienna.
