The cost of obtaining a Spanish Schengen visa has increased for Belarusians. From September 28, the Spanish Visa Center changed its service tariffs and simultaneously warned that due to an increase in the number of applicants for visas, document processing times may increase. However, the consular fee itself remained unchanged.

When submitting documents through the Spanish Visa Center, several payments must now be considered. The service fee has increased from 15 to 17 euros, which is approximately 58 rubles. The cost of logistics services also increased — from 90 to 98 rubles. In addition, a separate consular fee of 35 euros is charged for citizens of Belarus.
Thus, the main price increase is related not to the consular fee, but to the additional services of the visa center.
At the same time, the center warned that due to an increase in the number of applications, the document processing time could reach up to 45 days. Therefore, travelers planning a trip to Spain are advised not to delay submitting documents, as even with all the necessary papers, a decision may now take significantly longer.
Earlier, it was reported that the processing of a Hungarian Schengen visa had also become more expensive. From October 1, the service fee at the Hungarian Visa Center increased from 18 to 22 euros. As a result, the total amount for processing a Hungarian visa through the visa center is 57 euros: 35 euros consular fee and 22 euros service fee.
