Two buses of Belarusians were taken to Moscow for a religious procession with the relics of Donskoy, led by Patriarch Kirill

They are praying for victory in the war against Ukraine. The Russian Orthodox Church TV channel called the relic a sign of Russia's inevitable victory.

Believers from Belarus were organized and brought to the religious procession led by Patriarch Kirill. According to the Telegram channel "Orthodoxy and Zombies," after a corresponding letter, at least two buses — about 100 people — were gathered in Minsk. Students from the Minsk Theological Seminary and Academy were also sent to Moscow.

The main relic of the procession was a reliquary with the relics of the Moscow Prince Dmitry Donskoy. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the reliquary was made with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill to be transported to military units of the Russian army, including to the war against Ukraine. The ministry called it "for our comfort and our victory."

On the Orthodox TV channel "Spas," priest Valery Dukhanin stated that Dmitry Donskoy "now helps in the confrontation with the enemy": "We will be granted victory in the ongoing military actions, and Russia will undoubtedly win. That is why the prince's relics appeared as a sign that the Lord is with us again."

Speaking of the prince's historical enemies, the priest mentioned not only the Mongol-Tatars but also Lithuania, calling it "a symbol of opposing Western civilization."

At the end of August, the Russian Orthodox Church announced a miracle and the "second acquisition" of Dmitry Donskoy's relics, although the location of his burial in the Archangel Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin was known earlier and had never disappeared.
