Belarusian women will be able to get free infertility risk screening
The Ministry of Health of Belarus is introducing a new plan of preventive measures. Now, during medical examinations, women will be able to be checked for infertility risks, BELTA reports.
— As part of the medical check-up, women aged 18-39 will mandatorily undergo hormonal screening and ovarian reserve testing. This will allow detecting infertility risks long before clinical manifestations, — said Ivan Kurlovich, Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the National Research and Practical Center "Mother and Child".
Also, preventive campaigns "Future Mother" and "Thyroid Health" are planned for young Belarusian women. For older women, breast cancer and osteoporosis screenings are provided.
