Driver who was operating a minibus with Belarusian tourists in Georgia did not have the appropriate license
In Georgia, the prosecutor's office has charged the driver of a minibus that was involved in a serious accident on August 12 in Ozurgeti municipality. As a result of the accident, four Belarusians died, and 15 others were injured.

According to investigation materials, the driver did not have the appropriate permit to transport such a number of passengers, but nevertheless transported tourists. On the 16th kilometer of the road, he lost control, the minibus veered off the road, fell from a cliff, and crashed into a tree.
The driver was detained. He was charged with violating traffic rules, which led to the death of more than two people. Under Georgian law, this person could face up to 10 years of imprisonment. The prosecutor's office is seeking his arrest.
The minibus was transporting Belarusian tourists. In the accident, four citizens of Belarus died, and 15 people were injured, including six minors.
As of the evening of August 14, four injured victims had already left hospitals: one person was discharged from the Republican Clinic in Batumi, and three others from a hospital in Chokhatauri. The remaining injured continue to be under medical supervision. According to the Belarusian Ambassador to Georgia, Nikolai Ragashchuk, there are no critically ill patients among them, and their condition is assessed as stable.
